Dan and Cindy, both born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, were high school sweethearts and married in 1974. Soon after they gave their hearts to Jesus and the course of their lives was drastically changed.
They have three children; Holly, Dan, and Donny, all grown and married. They also have eight grandchildren.
Cindy, being supportive, made it possible for Dan to graduate from Christ To The World Bible College and to go on short term mission trips to Mexico and Central America back in the early 1990’s.
Helping the one in need saving their souls
Their first opportunity to preach was in Nicaragua and when two women surrendered to the Lord, the issue was settled that what little they had to offer, the Lord was willing to use for His Glory.
In 1993, they moved to Costa Rica with their three children, and Dan Salas Ministries was birthed. This humble ministry consisted of a 16mm movie projector, The Jesus Movie, an old car that rarely started, and a desire to proclaim good news.
Since then, they have been honored to have worked throughout Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Guatemala, Colombia, Puerto Rica and Dominican Republic. They also have been privileged to have made several trips to the Caribbean.
They have had the wonderful opportunity to help distribute Christian literature to tens of thousands of incarcerated men and women throughout Latin America telling them “Jesus loves you.”

Unity and Community
"For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others."

We celebrate the diversity of God's creation and recognize the strength that comes from unity. As a global community, we come together in faith, acknowledging our interconnectedness and working collaboratively to achieve greater impact.
